DR Midwest LLC, doing business as METARLight, operates this storefront. This policy explains what this site collects, why we use it, and how you can contact us about your information.

Information you provide

When you use our contact form, we store your name, email address, optional phone number, subject, message, submission time, and acknowledgement of this policy. We use those details to handle questions, support requests, and custom-product inquiries. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We email your message to our support team and copy the address you provide.

Visit information and cookies

Optional analytics requires your permission. When enabled and accepted, we store a random session identifier, session start and last-visit times, page paths, supported catalog category selections, and page-visit timestamps. These identifiers are not linked to contact submissions. This analytics system does not store IP addresses, full referring URLs, browser fingerprints, message contents, or arbitrary URL query parameters.

Essential cookies support form security and remember your consent choice. The consent cookie lasts up to 180 days. The optional visit cookie expires after approximately 30 minutes of inactivity. Our hosting provider may maintain separate operational or security logs.

Choose cookie preferences to accept or reject optional analytics. The site remains usable when you reject analytics. Withdrawal stops future visit collection and removes the visit cookie.

Storage, use, and sharing

Contact requests and consented visit records are stored in the storefront database. We use contact information to respond to you and visit statistics to improve the site. We may include limited contact information in internal alerts to diagnose site errors. We do not sell this information or use this analytics feature for advertising. Hosting and technical service providers may process information to operate the site. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect rights and investigate misuse.

Guest orders store the email and shipping address supplied at checkout. We use SMTP to send a private link for order status and tracking. Password recovery uses a temporary hashed token and sends reset and password-change notification emails. New account registration uses a short-lived email verification token. Customer accounts store your email address, display name, a securely hashed password, and an optional saved shipping address. Orders retain item selections, prices, shipping and tax totals, delivery details, payment references, and tracking information so we can fulfill purchases and show your order history. Shopping carts are stored to maintain your selections; inactive guest carts are removed after 30 days.

When PayPal checkout is enabled, we send PayPal the order items, amount, and delivery name and address. PayPal collects payment details in its own checkout. This application does not collect or store card numbers or security codes. PayPal processes information under its own privacy notice. Payment and order records are operational records and do not depend on optional analytics consent.

Account and order records are retained to provide order history, support purchases, and handle record-keeping obligations. They do not have an automatic deletion schedule in this version. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion; some purchase records may need to be retained. Authentication uses short-lived rate limits and temporary account lockouts to reduce abuse.

Retention and security

Analytics sessions inactive for more than 90 days are removed by a daily cleanup, along with their page records. Contact submissions are retained to handle and document inquiries, subject to applicable requirements and deletion requests; they do not have an automatic deletion schedule in this version.

We use access controls and technical safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you have provided. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Anonymous visit records may not be identifiable from your name or email alone.

External sites have their own privacy practices. We may revise this notice as services change; the effective date above will identify the current version. This storefront is intended for a general audience, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.
